An Important Update From PlayCo

Dear Friends,

On March 16th, Mayor De Blasio closed small theatres in NYC until further notice. Despite our best efforts to keep our production of Lunch Bunch on track, we’ve had to postpone the show until theatres reopen.

We’ve recently been in touch with all ticket holders to discuss options, and we are incredibly grateful to all who generously donated their tickets or requested we hold their reservation until we resume production. Thank you! Please email info@playco.org if you have additional questions about your reservations.

Without knowing when theatres will be allowed to reopen, we’re unable at this moment to provide a specific plan for when we will resume production. Our priority is to produce Lunch Bunch as soon as possible, and we’re working to get back on stage as quickly as we can.

Our administrative staff is now working from home. If you need us, please email us at info@playco.org and we’ll respond to your questions and concerns as soon as possible.

We feel more than ever the need to come together in the magical ways theatre has always created. It’s very painful to go dark. Lunch Bunch is about finding joy and connection with each other. We can’t wait to share it with you, and we’ll keep you updated as plans come together.

‘Til then, thank you so much for your patience and support. These are difficult times for all of us. Nevertheless we’ve been cooking up ways to make art and share it with you even while we need to stay “socially distant”, so please visit our Artistic Programs page to find out more.

We look forward to seeing you at the theatre when we can gather safely again, and meanwhile send you our very best wishes.
