Meet the Participants

Morteza (he/him) is a consultant, coach, and counseling clinician with a focus on identity, relational dynamics, and intergenerational healing. With a strong commitment to fostering creative and compassionate spaces for dialogue, he specializes in supporting South Asian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, and LGBTQ+ communities, particularly navigating the intersections of cultural and spiritual heritage and queer/trans identities. He holds a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from NYU, a graduate degree in strategic management from Harvard University, and an undergraduate degree in Math and Economics with a minor in Middle Eastern History from UT Austin.

Rizwan Jagani (he/him) is a professional violist and educator of Indian and Pakistani heritage. He has performed in various venues globally such as the Kennedy Center, Music Center at Strathmore, St. Stephen's Cathedral, and more. He combines his Western Classical training with various musical styles such as Bollywood, Musical Theatre, Pop, and Rock. He is in the final stages of completing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Catholic University of America. He also holds degrees from Austin College, Carnegie Mellon University, and University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Fahmida Rashid (she/her) is a cybersecurity journalist and technology analyst residing in New York City. She has worked for large companies including IBM and Cisco, and has written in various technology and business publications including Forbes.com, PCMag, and the Daily Beast. She has a Master of Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College.
The panel will begin in the theater 5 minutes after Amm(i)gone’s performance and last for 45 minutes.
