Meet the Participants

Shaunna Rodrigues is an Early Career Fellow and Faculty Member at the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian and African Studies at Columbia University. She is a political theorist who works on anticolonialism, constitutionalism and democracy in postcolonial societies. Her most recent project engages with how data systems and artificial intelligence are shaping new forms of worldmaking and progress.

Shaunna completed her Ph.D. and Masters from Columbia University, New York.

Srujanee Mishra (She/Her) is the Community Engagement Intern at PlayCo. She is pursuing an MFA at Columbia University and has a BA from the University of Glasgow. She has worked at the intersection of economics and theatre, using insights from development surveys and projects to write and perform plays for social change in rural Odisha.
